What is HEMA?
Historical European Martial Arts (HEMA) involves reconstructing and practicing fighting techniques from Europe, spanning from the Late Middle Ages to the early modern period, primarily using historical manuals and treatises.
It spans various weapons, including longswords, rapiers, sabers, and daggers, as well as grappling. It is practiced as both a competitive sport and a historical study.
